She uses these relational networking skills and her many other talents to develop and grow the BEATS ministry among the neighborhoods many youth. Her focus is always on meeting new people and bringing them together to connect, create, and grow using the arts and creative presentations of the Gospel.

Kristy Wallace

In 2009, Kristy moved to Miami from Virginia by way of Chicago to become part of the Urban Resurrection team. She grew up in an Air Force household on a military base where she first learned the value of community living. During her time in Chicago, she earned a degree in Urban Studies from Moody Graduate School which has only confirmed her desire to serve God among those who are marginalized by society. Kristy has a keen passion for justice and a desire to see communities live out biblical principles of community. She truly believes in the work that Urban Resurrection is doing in West Coconut Grove and feels privileged to be a part of the community here.
