We just got this note:
“I just wanted to thank you for your hard work in getting us out of a fuel crisis here at Baptist Haiti Mission. You literally saved lives at our hospital and it allowed us to be able to distribute much needed relief. May God continue to bless your efforts. It is great to see the body of Christ working together.
In Christ,
Chris
- Please pray for our team as we go into the next week, that we will have the strength to sustain this effort as we have seen and continue to see that God is clearly at work and using our efforts to answer the prayers of His people as evidenced above.
- Things are slowly changing on the ground as far as the big orgs getting the supplies out of the PaP airport and port into the city. PRAY THAT THE POLITICS AND THE HOLD UPS WILL CEASE AND THAT THE MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF AID SITTING ON THE TARMAC WILL MAKE IT TO THE PEOPLE ASAP!!!
- We are now working with the UN a bit and they have provided us a safe staging area in Haiti where we can store some fuel for easier distribution.
- Also pray that people in the US would not slow their fervor for the cause of the Haitian people. Our media saturation cuts both ways, when the networks lose interest so does the coverage and the focus of the country goes back toward apathy. Prayer can change that, so hit it hard!!
- Signing off, as you can tell from the order of this update and its brevity I am very tired so excuse any typos.
Goodnight!

“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” -Psalm 34: 15-18
“Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness”. -James 3:18

Hi Urban Resurrection,
I attended Mosaic in 2008, but have since moved back home to New Hampshire. I recently returned from the Caribbean, U.S.V.I’S to be exact, after finishing a term position aboard the motor yacht “Savannah”. My father called our satellite phone the night of the earthquake to let me know of tsunami warnings throughout the area due to the massive quake in Haiti earlier that evening.
I finished the job and returned home on January 19, and got in contact with Tom McAllister to find out where I could send some tithe money towards relief efforts in Haiti. I knew that Mosaic was going to be down there giving a hand. He directed me towards your group, which I remembered from my time at Mosaic. I also heard that Joseph and Antoinine were in the country at the time of the disaster. It is my prayer that they are okay.
Anyways, I have $400.00 to donate, and I know that you’ll find the proper way to put it to use down there. Please let me know the best/fastest way to get the money down there to you. My phone number is 786-768-1729, and my email is jessiforce@live.com. Thank you for all of your service to the people of Haiti.
